Each log is unique.
Handcrafting means that no two homes are the same.

We specialize in the handcrafting of traditional Log homes, 
Round Log Post and Beam buildings, and Timber frame houses, 
as well as most any conceivable combination of the above.

All logs are hand-peeled and individually fitted into the house using only hand tools 
and hand-held power tools. They are never run through a lathe or any other machine 
which could strip them of their natural character.

 CWLH meets or exceeds the guidelines set out 
in the Log Building Standards by the International Log Builders Association.

 We are located on beautiful Vancouver Island near Parksville, British Columbia, Canada. Home to some of the finest Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar building logs available.
